Eucalyptus Oil

Eucalyptus Oil is the common name for the pure form of extracted oil from Eucalyptis, a genus of tropical plant family called Myrtaceae. Eucalyptis oil has a long history of use, most notably as a medicinal, antiseptic and insect repellent. Today’s Eucalyptic oils are mostly obtained from the leaves and twigs of this tree. Eucalyptic oils have become a popular choice due to their ability to moisturize without making skin oily or greasy.

Some of the benefits of Eucalyptus oil include anti-bacterial properties, which make them good for combating acne, as well as anti-inflammatory properties that are good for relieving symptoms of joint pain and inflammation. Eucalyptus oils are also known for their ability to make skin more supple and elastic. This in turn can help reduce wrinkles and helps keep skin looking youthful. As with any oil though, some people react better to Eucalyptus oil than others.
