Description
Argan trees have been in existence in Morocco since the early part of the tenth century. They were mainly used for making paper but later they were also given to the nobility and royalty to use for cooking and cosmetic purposes as well. Since then, they have gained popularity as an oil used for making cosmetic items, shampoos, and hair products. The oil is extracted from the Argan seeds and the oil is then refined into a very light and pure product. The quality of the oil does vary according to the particular species of Argan Tree used in making the oil. Argan fruit is very sweet smelling with a slight citrus scent.
